Dutch Trade Show Attracts 13% More Visitors

AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands – The trade show FietsVAK 2012, which closed its doors yesterday, has drawn 7,439 visitors, 13% more than the 2011 edition. The organization looks back on a successful move of the show from Autotron Rosmalen to Amsterdam RAI.

In general the opinion regarding the move to Amsterdam was positive. A remark of one of the exhibitors was most striking; “When back in Amsterdam you notice the rural atmosphere of Rosmalen”.

The FietsVAK 2012 offered a complete overview of the current trends in the Benelux bicycle sector together with the latest models and accessories on 12.000 square meters exhibition space and 135 exhibitors. The visiting IBD’s were most interested in new products but nothing more than that. As one of the exhibitors expressed: “A great event but IBDs did not show much willingness to order.”
