AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands – Starting next weekend, the Dutch trade show FietsVAK will be the meeting place for over 6,000 bicycle professionals.
Almost all Dutch manufacturers as well as several foreign suppliers, importers, wholesalers and agents are present at the exhibition together with national retail organizations, bicycle insurance companies and shop fitters and workshop equipment providers.
At the opening of the show on Sunday morning, the bike of the year and the e-bike of the year will be honoured together with the innovation award.
A new feature of this trade show is the FietsVAK Theater. Here 45 minute seminars are presented at which trade visitors can inform themselves on the latest trends in shopping, how to recognize a stolen bike, e-bike occasions, communication with customers and dealer shop take-over’s.
The 2012 FietsVAK will take place in the Amsterdam RAI exhibition center and is easy accessible for foreign visitors via nearby located Schiphol Airport as well as by train. Attending FietsVAK can be combined with a visit to Amsterdam, capital of the cycling world.
The FietsVAK 2012 takes place from 29 to 31 January in Amsterdam RAI.
