Internetstores Expands E-Commerce Concept in Europe

ESSLINGEN, Germany – German Internetstores AG – owner of among others Fahrrad.de and its Austrian, Dutch, French and Swiss counterparts under the Bikster name - is now also expanding with its virtual camping and outdoor shop Campz into its neighbouring markets.

Internetstores AG’s camping and outdoor platform Campz is now also entering the Austrian, Dutch, French and Swiss markets with to each country tailored virtual stores. Native speakers will serve customers from the named countries out of the company headquarters in Esslingen.

While the bike business outside Germany is covered under the Bikster name (bikster.at, bikster.ch, bikster.fr, bikster.nl) the fitness business in Austria and Switzerland runs under fitster.at and fitster.ch.

Next to Fahrrad.de Internetstores AG is also operating bikeunit.de and bruegelmann.de. The Esslingen company is also creator of the world’s first e-bike online store. Perhaps it was a bit too early: E-Ways has recently been integrated into Fahrrad.de. End of last year Internetstores AG also announced the takeover of all trademarks on Fixie Inc. The pioneering authentic fixie and single-speed brand out of Karlsruhe ceased operations.
