AMSTERDAM. the Netherlands - On the 1st of September, 2011 an article in Bike Europe’s eMail Newsletter titled “Dahon – Tern Battle Intensifying at Eurobike” included the following statements that have been discovered as incorrect and require retraction. The article, discussing the legal dispute between Dahon and Tern, provided several misleading statements incorrectly cited the parties involved. In recognizing these errors, we offer our readers the following corrections:
A preliminary ex parte injunction was filed in a German district court by Mobility Holdings, Ltd. against Dahon North America, Inc. and no other companies. “Dahon Global” cited as a party involved in the injunction on several occasions, is not an actual legal entity. As such, Stewart Clarke, who was quoted within the published article, is the legal manager of Tern Bicycles and not Dahon.
Bike Europe takes the accuracy of its publications seriously and wishes to provide its readers with only fact-based articles that our audience can rely on. Thank you for your understanding.
