There already were BBB inner tubes available for wheel sizes between 12.5” and 28”. Now, BBB will also have a MTB inner tube for 29ers in 2012. The BikeTube BTI-89 comes in two different models, one with a 48 millimeter long Presta valve and one with a 40 millimeter long Schrader valve.
Like all BBB inner tubes, the BTI-89 is molded from a long-lasting butyl rubber compound and preformed for a better fit into the tires.
The standard air chamber wall thickness is 0.87 mm. Besides the two 29er versions, BBB tubes are available in all common widths, with different valve lengths and Presta, Schrader, or Dunlop valve.
