HAMBURG, Germany – The next non-industry design icon quickly jumped on the e-bike boom. A native of Iran, Hamburg star architect Hadi Teherani (photo) designed and sales a limited edition of only 200 e-bikes on the specially created website with web shop www.haditeheranibikes.de.
Hadi Teherani claims the 2,950 euro e-bike to be a designer classic, it is functional, timeless, sustaining and above all unique.
The battery (6.6 Ah, 244 W/h lithium-ion) is located in a removable handlebar bag. An I-phone mounted on the handle bar will provide information regarding navigation, speed and distance. The bike is powered by an unspecified front hub motor.
The chromo plated steel frame Hadi Teherani bike is specified with a Sturmey-Archer gear hub in combination with the ‘Duomatic’ 2-speed system which is controlled by putting the pedal up or down.
