Concentration at One of the Biggest Dutch wholesalers

ZWOLLE, The Netherlands – One of the biggest Dutch wholesalers, Kruitbosch Cycle Universe, is merging its two business-units in Zwolle and Hoogeveen. Starting in 2008, it will operate from a new premises in Zwolle.

Director Chris Kruitbosch: “Kruitbosch Cycle Universe will focus this year on innovation and improvement. During the past couple of years, the co-operation between our two business-units has already been frequent and to mutual profit. So, the step to continue as one unit must be seen as a logical sequence towards even more service, efficiency and profitability. The final merger will be take place January 1, 2008.”
At this moment, both business-units employ a total of 120 people. The merger will have no personal consequences, but it will bring efficiency advantages. Kruitbosch is, among others, contract supplier for the Dutch retail organizations Birectco, Bike Totaal and Twico.
Kruitbosch Cycle Universe will also get a new organizational structure. Chris Kruitbosch will be the director of the new setup. His management team will further consist of Wilco Kruitbosch (sales), Egbert Kruitbosch (purchase) and Martin Kruitbosch (logistics).
