DUARTE, USA – Folding specialist Dahon has hired German native Kai Zimmer (photo) as its new Technical Specialist and Russell Sneed as Product Director, both effective immediately. Zimmer, who most recently worked as Cannondale Sales Coordinator for Germany, Switzerland and Austria, will be based in Europe to look after product support and bike specifications while ensuring the communication of strong technical feedback from customers to Dahon factories.
Zimmer’s previous experience in the bicycle industry includes a run with Kona Bikes in Germany as well as a period as Workshop Manager for a prominent bike retailer in Dubai.
Russell Sneed, who most recently worked as Sales Manager for American Grass and Turf, Inc., has over 25 years of experience in the bicycle industry, including runs with SAF Group, Inc., where he served as Vice President, and Vancouver based FC Cycles Inc. / FILA. Sneed will be in charge of Dahon’s product development.
