LOEHNE, Germany - The Panther Werke AG Supervisory Board appointed Dirk Zwick as COO next to the other members of the management team, Michael Ulrich Schmidt and Michael Schminke. Previously Zwick was general manager at Panther Werke’s sister company UAB Baltik Vairas in Lithuania. His experience for controlling the operational processes within the company directly resulted in his appointment as COO of the group.
Since 1995 Dirk Zwick made UAB Baltic Vairas the largest manufacturing company in the Panther Werke group with nearly 600 employees and approximately 40,000 square meters of production and warehouse space. Only recently he started up the assembly of e-bikes in Lithuania and brought the quality standards to the same level as the German mother company.
UAB Baltic Vairas is one of the subsidiaries of Panther Werke AG which is producing approximately 450,000 bikes annually.
