EICMA Trade Show Moves Back To September

MILAN, Italy - In 2007 EICMA decided to move the Bicycle Show from September to November to coincide with the Motorcycle Show again. The aim was to leave a month packed with trade shows in September. After two years, the Italians have experienced that a show targeting the trade too just has to take place in the period July – September.

According to EIMCA the shows in combination with the motorcycles have met full approval of some exhibitors. On the contrary a substantial number of exhibitors felt it was essential to move the show date to September in order to target the trade instead of the consumer only.

EICMA 2009: A Double For Milan

After a long series of meetings with among them the exhibitors EICMA reached the conclusion that a single exhibition is insufficient to cater for all potential exhibitors. EICMA therefore decided to organize two shows in 2009.

In September the EICMA Bicycle Show, will be held from the 18th until the 21st. This show will benefit from an attractive fee of just € 70 per square meter. This show will be put up with affordable ‘turnkey’ booths, as well as favorable hotel prices.

On top of that the EIMCA Bicycle and Motorcycle Show will take place from 10th to 15th November, together with the successful cycling event, the “Milan Six Day Race”. Alongside the motorcycles, some 500,000 visitors are expected to this event.
