The European Two-Wheeler Retailers’ Association (ETRA) and the Light Electric Vehicle Association (LEVA) will organize a seminar for the electric bike business taking place on Saturday September 3 in Friedrichshafen. According to both organizers this seminar will provide essential information on the application of the European Machinery Directive to electric bicycles.
Other main point on the agenda is the on-going review of the European type-approval legislation, which will have a major impact on the classification and technical regulations governing electric bicycles.
Finally, there will be an inspiring exchange of ideas with Eurisy on the possible use of satellite applications in the (electric) bike business. Eurisy is a European non-profit association of over 30 governmental space offices and space agencies, international organisations, research institutions, and private businesses involved or interested in space-related activities.
