The small Taichung based company Figmo Corporation has developed a range of bicycle components and accessories including saddles, handlebars, stems, forks and wheel sets. All the components are branded as Edge Design.
Currently, three types of Edge Design wheel sets have been approved by the UCI. New in Figmo’s product portfolio are three Edge Design Sidewinder full carbon clincher wheel sets. All wheel sets feature a full carbon clincher rim with Edge straight pull hub and Pillar PSR1432 black blade spokes of 3.2 millimetre wide.
The Sidewinder 3.8 with a 38 millimetre rim is designed for road racing, the Sidewinder 5.0 for road racing or time trial and the Sidewinder 8.5 for time trial. The weight of the Sidewinder wheel sets ranges from 1,510 grams to 1,923 grams.
