Full Speed Ahead – better know as FSA – will display in Friedrichshafen in its Road program two new top class cranksets: the K-Force BB 386 Evo and the SL-K Light BB 386 EVO. Both are hollow carbon molded cranksets now available for the new BB 386 EVO standard.
The SL-K Light comes with hollow carbon arms with UD carbon finish; low speed extruded AL7050 BB30 spindle; chrome steel BB30 bearings and AL7075 100% CNC machined chainrings.
The SL-K is available with colour graphics in Red, White, Pink, Green. Weight of the SL-K crankset stands at 580 grams; the K-Force BB 386 weighs 554 grams. New at the MTB front is the new Afterburner components family. This family includes a extensive crankset series, of course including BB 30 models as well as BB 386. Next to that there are Afterburner handlebars and stems.
The biggest news that FSA showed at Eurobike on its sub brand for wheelsets – Vision – was the TC24. This wheelset has new 24mm Carbon Tubular rims with CNC machined Vision hubs that have sealed cartridge bearings (2 F+4R) with 17mm hub axle. The TC24 comes with Sapim Aero blade spokes and is Artisan hand built. The new wheelset is with its alloy cassette body compatible for Shimano 9-10sp or Campagnolo 10-11sp. Spokes: 20 radial front wheel; 24 rear wheel, cross x2 drive side and radial non drive side. Weight of the Vision TC24 wheels are 1.250 grams per pair.
Another new components family is presented by FSA under its subbrand Gravity. It’s called the Gap family that, according to FSA stands out in price. Gap includes cranksets, stems and handlebars.
