Gore Ride On Sealed Shift Cable System introduces the next generation which offers significant performance advances and delivers a noticeably improved riding experience.
The weight of the new cable housing is less than 20 grams per meter while the 100% non-ferrous housing materials eliminate chance of corrosion. On top of that the housing flexibility is improved for complicated routing. The full length is now completely lubricated, reducing friction by more than 20% over a non-lubricated system.
The stainless cable enables the use of an advanced version of the Gore coating, further reducing friction and reducing chance of corrosion. The Grub seal has been redesigned completely ensuring compatibility with all new derailleurs.
The ultra light sealed shift cable system has an 5 millimetre housing, compatible with all major mountain bike shifting systems and most road bike shifting systems that accept 5 mm housing.
