LAS VEGAS, US –Interbike, North America's largest bicycle trade show, is set for another strong turn out of the industries big and small names. Good spring and summer sales have led to a solid year’s start for many companies and retailers. Best of all, the growth was coming from several different categories as BMX, road bikes and the Freeride mountain bike category are still the driving force in the market.
Interbike Pre-store registration is ahead with 1752 retail stores registered to attend Interbike to date. Free registration has been extended to August 31 (originally Aug 18). A positive sign to note is that Trek Bicycle Corporation has decided to return back to Interbike with a presence at the OutDoor Demo only.
The European Village is again fully booked with some first time exhibitors like Cicli Esperia and strong representations of brands like BH Bikes, Spain, and Biomega from Denmark, Lapierre, France or Storck Bicycles from Germany. This years 2nd Euro Village sees a clearer layout and improved position within the Sands Expo Hall, bringing both the larger exhibitors and the smaller booths more upfront to meet their audience.
