JD Group Opens EU Office

BAD NAUHEIM, Germany – To provide the European clients with easier access to sales, technical service, training, and support services JD Group founded a new business unit located in the heart of Europe.

“The demand for our services continues to grow exponentially and opening an office within the European market was the next logical step for us,” said JD President Gino Tsai said at the opening of the European office. “Having a presence in Germany strengthens our commitment to our European customers and to bringing our technology and services closer to them.”

David Smith has been appointed as European Service Manager. He will be responsible for developing and managing the Technical Service Center in Bad Nauheim. Smith has 10 years industry experience in after-sales service. He previously spent five years at Iko-Corratec as a customer service manager.

TranzX Power Support Technology

One of the main areas of focus for the new European office will be TranzX Power Support Technology. This sophisticated electric bicycle drive system was introduced last year by the Taiwanese manufacturer. Starting with the launch of TranzX PST last year and now the opening of its first office in Europe, JD aims to expand its share of the electric bicycle market. In addition to the Bad Nauheim office, JD has offices in Taiwan, China, Japan and the United States. The conglomerate owns and operates three manufacturing facilities in Taiwan and China.
