BRUSSELS, Belgium – The theme of this year Velo-city conference is Re-cycling cities. After many years of restraint the 2009 edition will see the largest contribution ever of the bicycle industry.
Trek CEO John Burke (see photo) and former Raleigh MD Philip Darnton will be two of the speakers of Velo-city 2009. This conference is generally regarded to be the largest conference devoted to cycling in the world.
Philip Darton will speak about the Economy and cycling during the second plenary session regarding the benefits and arguments to cycle. At the next plenary session concerning communication and marketing John Burke will tell his story about successful marketing of cycle use.
Velo-city will take place in Brussels, Belgium from May 12-15.
