Joy Industrial Co. Ltd (better known by its brand names Joy-Tech and Novatec) will be showing its latest development in components for e-Bikes at this year’s Taipei Cycle Show. The company calls the range ‘Dyna Motor Module’ (DMM) which includes all options such as front or rear hub motor, as well as speed and torque sensors.

Joy Industrial started in 2006 with the development of e-Bike components. Since then the range has constantly been updated and expanded. Currently it encompasses all electrical parts, including several options for bikes bigger than 26 inch.

Two types of hub front or rear motors are available – in 24V/180 W and 36V/250 W. These motors are powered by 24V or 36V/10Ah Lithium-Manganese batteries and managed by DC 24/36/48V and 150 – 500 W electronic controllers. There are also battery power displays, chargers, and drum brake hubs as well as dynamo hubs suited for mounting in e-Bikes. With the addition of torque sensors Joy Industrial takes its DMM to the next quality level with which it is better suited for its main markets in Europe.

Of course the company will also show its latest developments in other product ranges at Taipei Cycle. Like in dynamo hubs where there’s a new high performance type been added to the range with an output of 6V/3W. Also new is an inner 3-speed disc hub that stands out for its weight of only 800 grams. The 3-speed disc hub comes comes with a revo shifter.

The Joy Industrial presentation in Taipei will also feature the Novatec 2011 hub and wheelset range. This range features the newest ultra high-end products like the time trial full-carbon wheels with 85 mm deep rims, 3D aerodynamic surface and oval aerodynamic front and rear full carbon hubs.
