ESSEN, Germany - According to the Suddeutsche Zeitung, German retail giant Karstadt-Quelle AG joined the global internet platform GobalNetXchange - GNX in short. With Metro another German retail giant is already counting on the San Francisco based B2B portal. Other participants are Carrefour and Pinault-Printemps-Redoute from France, Kroger and Sears from USA, Coles Myer from Australia and Sainsbury from the UK. Several of these companies as for example Carrefour or Karstadt-Quelle are also selling bicycles. All in all GnX's sales volume is now estimated around EUR 275 billion. (JB)
