BREDA, the Netherlands – “Biretco is ready for the future,” said Henk de Vreeze (middle) who resigned as CEO of retail organization Biretco as of January 1, 2012. Financial Manager Erik de Geus (left) and Commercial Manager Willem Veenstra (right) took over the daily operation of Biretco. For some time, Henk de Vreeze will stand by the organization as consultant.
Henk de Vreeze started at Biretco in December 2007 and his main task was to modernize the organization. In a statement Biretco’s board of directors and shareholders pay tribute to De Vreeze for his commitment and achievements in the past years.
One of the most important tasks of the new management is to align the strategy of cooperation in which the IBDs and business partners have a central role.
Erik de Geus has been a long term veteran at Biretco. Willem Veenstra is relatively new, as he joined Biretco in February 2011. Previously he held various senior positions in the retailing business.
