TAICHUNG, Taiwan – Next week’s Taichung Bike Week has never before been so big as it will be this year. Even a 4th location is at the last minute added as the other three Taichung, Taiwan hotels that host the mini shows for product manager are sold out.
A total of about 110 parts manufacturers will present their line-ups for model year 2012 at this year’s Taichung Bike Week. Their mini shows and presentations will take place at the Evergreen Hotel, Tempus Hotel in downtown Taichung and Freshfields (for the Ride On event), which is a half-hour free shuttle ride away. As these three hotels are now fully booked, the Splendor is added to the list and will be able to offer accommodation and it is only 300 meters from Tempus & Evergreen venues. At the Splendor about 20 parts manufacturers will have their mini shows for product managers.
Taichung Bike Week 2010 will take place from December 4 to 8 and will be the linking event between Ride On which will take place December 1 to 6, 2010 and SRAM’s Taiwanathon from December 5 to 8, 2010. Since 2008 Taichung Bike Week strives to provide product managers with the perfect environment in which they can utilize their time in Taichung and perform their duties with maximum efficiency.
The last minute added Splendor hotel will also be linked with the shuttle busses that run every 30 minutes to all hotels and are free to all bicycle industry people. The Taichung City government is again supporting the event with the shuttle busses and with visitor and exhibitor information services at each of the hotels.
Taichung mayor Jason Hu will again host the Taichung Bike Week banquet dinner party and networking event on December 6. The dinner party will take place at the Evergreen hotel and is presented by the Bike Expo Munich Show (Messe München). This dinner party and networking event is free to members of the bicycle industry, but due to high interest it will be necessary to register at the Taichung Bike Week website www.taichung-bike-week.com
