PARIS, France – Al last week’s Taipei Cycle Show a persistent and widespread rumour was going around on the postponement of the expiry date on the dumping duties for China and Vietnam for six months.
Bike Europe asked Brian Montgomery, Chairman of the European Bicycle Manufacturers’ Association if he could confirm the postponement. He said: “No. There’s no postponement taking place. The anti-dumping procedure is laid down in detailed EU rules and regulations which of course are to be respected. That procedure says the expiry data is July 15, 2010.”
