PARIS, France – ‘Paris, The Capital of Cycling Innovation!’ is the slogan for the 2011 Paris Cycle Show. It will be the only national bicycle and bike products show in France next year.
The Paris show missed out in 2010. This was due to an agreement with GL Events/Extra Sports, organizer of the Lyon R’Bike Show. As two large bicycle shows within one month is too much for France, AMC Promotion, organizer of the Paris Two Wheel Show and GL Events/Extra Sports of the Lyon R’Bike has agreed to alternate their shows as from 2010.
This means that the Paris Cycle Show is back on the 2011 calendar. Its dates are 16 - 19 September 2011 and the venue is the Paris Expo Center at the Porte de Versailles. According to organizer AMC Promotion, the event is bringing together all the players in the industry: bike makers, manufacturers of components and accessories, distributors, service providers, associations, media etc., together with the French Cycle Industry Council (CNPC).
The show starts on Friday 16 September with a Press and Professionals day from 9.00 am – 2.00 pm. Public Days are from Friday 16 September 2.00 pm; Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September: 10.00 am – 8.00 pm. The Cycling Professionals Day, Open to the Public is on Monday 19 September: 9.00 am – 7.00 pm. More at: www.amcpromotion.com
