KOPRIVNICE, Czech Republic – Bike Fun International sro goes dealer direct in Austria with its Rock Machine branded bikes. At last week’s Austrian Bike&Trimm 2011 (25. -28.9.) show it was announced that the Czech bike maker stopped its cooperation with wholesaler G. Grill Großhandels GmbH which distributed the Rock Machine bikes on an exclusive basis in Austria.
At the Bike&Trimm show Bike Fun International was searching for sales reps in Austria to handle the dealer direct business which will start in 2012. Bike Fun International took over the Rock Machine brand in 2009. In addition to Downhill and Mountainbikes, cross bikes, road bikes, BMX, Trekking as well as kid bikes are marketed under the Rock Machine label.
In the Czech Republic Bike Fun International’s main brands are Superior and STR bikes. The company also produces bikes on an OEM and ODM basis; is owned by two Dutchmen and is located in Kopřivnice about 16 km from International Airport Ostrava-Mošnov.
