Shimano Poland Opens New Facility

POZNAN, Poland – With the traditional opening of a barrel of saké Shimano Europe inaugurated the opening of its new premises in Poland recently.  It includes new warehouse facilities which strengthen the distribution capabilities of this Eastern European subsidiary of Shimano Europe. 

Shimano Poland’s new warehouse and office facilities are located in Poznan. Here 27 people are employed to handle the distribution of Shimano, Pro and other brands the company represents (Pearl Izumi, Giro, Bell, Easton, Blackburn, Continental, Elite, Aim, Multipower, Ogio) in Poland and on a longer term also in other Eastern European countries. Distribution for Western Europe (France, the Scandic countries and Benelux) is handled through Shimano Europe based in Nunspeet, the Netherlands where recently a new and fully automated warehouse started operations.

The official opening ceremony of the new Shimano Poland premises was visited by: Tetsuya Shimokawa (First Secretary of the Japanese Embassy), Sato Yuasa (Senior Vice President LSG division Shimano Inc.), Frank Peiffer (MD Shimano Europe), Erik Naberman (MD Shimano Benelux) and Bernhard Lange (MD Paul Lange & Co.) as well as other distinguished customers and guests of Shimano Poland.
