兩個鏈條與前叉技術錯誤的獨立事件，迫使Specialized 以及Walmart回收超過 100,000台自行車。Specialized接獲兩份刹車組件自碳纖前叉（見附圖）脫落的報告。安裝在碳纖前叉內的刹車組件可從前叉單獨分開使用，且刹車可在騎乘時接觸車輪輻條。
被回收的前叉為以下9種 2011特定型款；Sirrus Expert、Sirrus Comp、Sirrus Elite、Vita Expert、Vita Comp、Vita Elite、Vita Elite Step Thru、Tricross Sport、Tricross 以及Tricross Comp。
所有自行車在較低的前車架管都有Specialized品牌名稱。款型的名稱則在頂管上。Specialized共回收14,200台。
零售巨頭Walmart已於上週對透過佛羅里達州的Naples的Bridgeway International 為美國市場進口的中國製91,000台自行車，發出回收的指令。Walmart接獲11 份因斷裂鏈條導致受傷的報告，其中包括割傷與挫傷。
此次回收的品牌包含『Next』男子26吋紅色或橙色的混合動力自行車。車架上印有型號名稱Power X和Suspension。本次回收的型號包括LBH2611M和LBH2611M2。該型號位於踏板之間的車架位置。Walmart從今年2月份至今年7月份已售出這些自行車。
