IDSTEIN, Germany - Groundbreaking for Storck's new company headquarters took place on August, 27th in Nassau, Idstein, witnessed by founder and CEO, Markus Storck, the mayor of Idstein, Gerhard Krum as well as the people involved in creating the company’s new base. Storck has set high standards ecologically as well as architecturally.
The founding of the company in 1995 has been followed by dynamic growth in the last few years. Today, Storck Bicycle is high-quality products are distributed in 26 countries and are regarded as innovators in design and technology. Storck Bicycle is particularly competent in the development, construction and production of carbon frames and components that are frequent test winners in the technical press and winners of design awards.
The decision to build in Idstein was made because this city developed enormously recently and offers excellent fringe benefits for companies settling there. The infrastructure and traffic links are very suitable for an internationally active undertaking. The building operations should be finished by the end of this year, so the move from Bad Camberg to Idstein should follow at the beginning of 2009.
