Taipei Cycle Show Starts Awards Competition

TAIPEI, Taiwan – For the 25th Taipei Cycle Show which is held March 7 – 10, 2012, organizer TAITRA is initiating an Awards competition. This Taipei Cycle d&i Awards competition (design & innovation Awards) aims to inspire and reward excellence in innovation and quality.

Taipei Cycle’s Awards competition is held in cooperation with the show’s long-term partner; Taiwan Bicycle Exporters’ Association (TBEA). The Awards competition sets no limit to the number of entries per contestant, but expects that each entry reflects a high level of innovation and design.

The new Taipei Cycle d&i Awards is executed by iF International Forum Design GmbH. This company also organizes the Eurobike Awards. Taipei Cycle invites the entire global industry to enter their most competitive products. The competition is open to manufacturers, designers, distributors, importers and retailers from across the global bicycle industry. Entries can be registered in four categories: Bicycles, Components, Clothing and Equipment for Cyclists and Accessories.

Entries that have been on the market for less than two years or are scheduled to go into series production during the year of the Award competition, are eligible to participate in the first edition.
