The new brand Tern will present a range of new folding bikes at Eurobike like the Eclipse S11i (photo) and the Castro Duo. The Eclipse S11i was built to be the ultimate in two-wheeled urban transport. Fenders, integrated lighting, and bosses for front and rear racks/luggage are standard on this machine. A BioLogic Joule HG hub dynamo powers the integrated Valo light. What’s even cooler, the Joule HG can also be completely turned off to eliminate drag when you don’t need power. The Andros adjustable stem can accommodate riders short or tall and the FreeDrive chain cover protects you from chain grime and grease.
The Castro Duo with Kanga Rack is designed to simply get you from where you are to where you’re going. It has only two speeds — one for flats and one for hills. Automatic shifting with the SRAM Automatix hub and a coaster brake means there are no messy cables. The integrated rear rack is always at the ready to carry loads and is compatible with KLICKfix Rackpack adaptors. The optional Kanga front-mounted rack lets you quickly put on or take off loads — both big, small, and oddly shaped — in just seconds. The Castro folds in just 10 seconds.
