BIRMINGHAM, UK - The JD Group will significantly expand its presence in the UK e-Bike market with a new office providing direct and exclusive services to its TranzX PST clients. The sales and service centre will offer across-the-board client support, as well as sales and technical training seminars.

JD Group Managing Director Johnson Cho emphasized the importance of providing both optimum service and directly accessible client contact as the drivers behind this decision. “After the successfully launch this summer in the UK, we received much feedback and interest in our TranzX PST drive system technology,” said Cho.

“As the demand for our service continues to grow, this office was the next logical step to strengthen our UK engagement and enable us to provide exceptional support to clients.” The office is due to officially open in the second half of 2011 in the Birmingham metropolitan area with both sales and after sales service capabilities. JD Group’s initial UK staff will comprise two TranzX PST qualified technicians for service and one individual dedicated to sales.

The office’s core business will include handling warranty issues, on-site drive system and e-bike repairs, client consultation and a technical service hotline. Thanks to an integrated inventory of system components, a fast spare parts service can be guaranteed. Regular sales and technical training seminars will round out the comprehensive support being provided.

“The new Technical Service Centre location demonstrates our commitment to expand its UK operations by offering unparalleled service to partners. This step ideally positions us to capitalise on the growing e-bike market”, concludes Cho.
