Ursus Wheels “Made in Italy”

For more than 40 years Ursus S.p.a. has been working on the creation of new bike components which are 100% “Made in Italy”. For the creation of new wheel sets Ursus follows a very strict strategy of product development, testing and production of all handmade components in order to guarantee high quality for the final product.

After the big success of the high-profile Miura, Ursus has developed a climbing version, the Miura T24, tubular rim in carbon. The T24 combines the carbon-aluminum Ursus hubs with forged AL7075 hub flanges.

The Miura comes with a monocoque 100% carbon fiber 3K rim which should be used exclusively with cork brake shoes provided by Ursus and flat Sapim CX-Ray spokes. This set is available in three colours: Fluo, White, and Dark. The Miura T45 is designed to be used on mixed routes, with the aerodynamic shape of the rim offering superior performance on long straights.

The Miura T45 includes a pair of carbon-aluminum Ursus hubs, monocoque 100% carbon fiber 12K rim, internal nipples and a Shimano. SRAM and Campagnolo compatible cassette body. The Muira C58 is the most successful Ursus wheelset. It features a twin aluminum hub for a compromise between low weight, reliability and smoothness. The rim is carbon monocoque with an aluminum braking surface.
