BRUSSELS, Belgium – In the framework of the Velo-city 2009 conference the bicycle industry has the opportunity to show the latest innovations in the bike sector. Called the Expo Velo-city it will be the international meeting point for experts and consumers, for scientists and politicians, for cycling science and bike specialists.
In short: a meeting place where ideas can be exchanged, where the latest innovations are on full view, where experts and scientists discuss cycle policy and where suggestions for an improved cycle infrastructure are put forward.

The Velo-city is promoted as an ideal market research platform for the exhibitors. Next to the bicycle industry European cities and international organisations present a bike-friendly policy and submit possible solutions while trendwatchers will give their view on the future of the bike and its usage.
