BERN, Switzerland –The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) moved its headquarters within Switzerland from Lausanne to Bern. WFSGI’s new office is in the same building with several companies from the industry.
“We moved because we wanted to be closer to the industry”, says WFSGI Secretary General Robbert de Kock. “Having a retail chain as well as several showrooms of our members in the same building is one of the key advantages of our new home.”
Furthermore Switzerland’s capital is ideally located between Lausanne, home of the International Olympic Committee, and Zurich, where WFSGI’s associate member FIFA is headquartered. Last but not least WFSGI is pleased to be able to use the rental savings and the support of the Bern Economic Development Agency to further expand services and support for its members.
