BAD SODEN, Germany - Rolf Lemberg (l.) will step back as managing director of the German two-wheeler industry association ZIV at the end of this year. This announcement was made by Lemberg personally at a recent ZIV members meeting in Hamburg.
The intended successor of Lemberg is the current chairman of the ZIV technical committee Siegfried Neuberger (r.). The German industry association is expected to take a final decision in the coming months. Currently Siegfried Neuberger is heavily involved in the implementation of new standards like the EN 15194 for ‘Electronically Power Assisted Cycles’ (EPAC).
Rolf Lemberg has been managing director of the ZIV from the start of the association in 2000 when it was founded as a merger between the German bicycle and motorcycle industry association (VFM) and the German bicycle and motorcycle parts association (FTV). At that time Rolf Lemberg was general manager of VFM.
The two-wheeler industry association (ZIV) aim is to protect the interests of the German and international two-wheeler industry. A major part of the 85 member companies are active in the field production and import of bicycles, E-Bikes, bicycle parts, - components and - accessories.
