Christian Bubenheim New CEO at Internetstores
STUTTGART, Germany – On 1 June Christian Bubenheim joined Internetstores Holding as new CEO. Internetstores reports that “internationally renowned German e-commerce manager” succeeds Markus Winter. Winter left “Europe’s leading online provider of bicycle and outdoor products” operating internet platforms fahrrad.de, Brügelmann, Bikester, Probikeshop and Campz already at the beginning of the year.
Internetstores will enter an all new phase with the new leadership of Christian Bubenheim. “Bubenheim is taking over an important strategic role as part of Signa Sports Group’s leading European e-commerce platform”, is noted out of the Stuttgart-based Internetstores. Since the end of 2016 Karstadt’s parent company Signa Retail Group holds the majority of shares in Internetstores.
The new Internetstores-CEO previously worked for Scott24 AG. This company holds several internet platforms all over Europe. As part of the executive team, Christian Bubenheim prepared the company’s IPO and was responsible for the AutoScout24 business. Before, he spent six years at Amazon in the Prime and Consumables areas.
