New Lock Solves Frustrations
Independent product developer Pip Cartwright has developed the ‘Fast-Fast’, a radical new bike lock. “My research found that people are frustrated by the difficult and heavy locks currently available” explains Cartwright.
The Fast-Fast is easy to use and a bike can be secured to a post within seconds. The chain is packed in a simple and durable bag without moving parts. The lock itself is mounted on the seat tube. These design features make it much easier to use than traditional portable locks.
The high Security chain is always pulled tight and leaves no gaps as loose chains are much more vulnerable to attack by thieves. The Fast-Fast weighs only one kilogram.
