At Taipei Cycle Show Ballistic International will launch a new range of e-Bikes and e-Bike kits. This long term e-Bike components supplier will introduce 28, 26 and 20-inch bikes made in Taiwan. In Europe Ballistic International is active as OEM supplier and provide 24 and 36 volt kits.
The 24 volt system is mainly sold in the north of Europe and applied for city and flat area use. The 36 volt system is mainly used in the south of Europe on sportive bikes and in hilly areas. The 24 volt standard E-kit includes a 10 aH Sanyo cell battery made in Japan, a controller, box and carrier in an integrated design. The display has a battery indicator and Power Assistant level adjustment with five modes. The motor is available in 180 watt compact size and a 250 watt small size.
The pre-assembly is done in Taiwan making it very easy to install the e-kit by OEM’s in Europe. The 36 volt system comes with a 250 watt small size motor only. To expand the range, Ballistic International provides additional batteries in different sizes. To replace the most common sensors Ballistic has developed an advance optical sensor which can be integrated in the bottom bracket.
