RST Adopts 15 Millimetre Standard
RST has adopted the 15 millimetre thru axle standard introduced last year by Fox in co-operation with Shimano. The main advantage of the new system is lower weight while maintaining rigidity. It allows not only a reduction in weight for the hub, but also the fork, while increasing the rigidity of the system.
RST has implemented the 15 millimetre thru axle in the Titan all mountain fork. The Titan features a hydraulic rebound-adjust, OCR lock-out and an air spring. The fork features hard anodized 7050 aluminium stanchions and is available with 100, 120, 140 and 150 millimetre travel.
