SR Suntours e-System Ready for Action
SR Suntour e-System, shown for the first time at the 2008 Shanghai and Eurobike shows, is now production ready. In April mass production will allow immediately availability.
The heart of the components SR Suntour developed for electric bikes is the 24V/250W DC brushless Sanyo hub motor. It was developed to be used in combination with a magnesium suspension fork from SR Suntour that provides 63mm travel.
The e-System from the renowned component maker makes use of a torque sensor which is integrated in the crankset. The motor control unit is to be mounted just behind the crankset and seat tube. The battery is a 8AH lithium ion one weighing 2.88 kg and can be mounted behind the seat tube or at the rear carrier.
The complete kit including the specifically designed suspension fork for the Sanyo hub motor as well as a chain case set, consists of 16 parts.
