EZpro: from e-Scooters to e-Bikes
In case there was an Award during the 2009 Shanghai Show on the best looking e-Bike on display, surely EZpro would be one of the contenders. The Taichung, Taiwan based company showed some e-Bikes which are suited for the European market.
One model in particular stood out which was fitted with alloy frame, balloon tyres, slim designed rear carrier lithium battery and front hub motor. Ex-works price for this model stands at about US$ 500. Other complete e-Bikes in the EZpro line-up are MTB models as well as ones with shaft drive. They come with speed or torque sensors as well as with EPAC certificates through lab tests.
Next to complete e-Bikes EZpro also sells e-Bike kits. The company calls them ‘Power Systems’ and has 3 different systems in its range. EZpro is for already for 7 years producing eletric scooters and started one year ago with electric bicycles.
