One thing is sure; SRAM will celebrate at Eurobike its huge success at this year’s Tour de France. A clean podium sweep; winner Alberto Contador, runner-up Andy Schleck as well as third placed Lance Armstrong; they all used SRAM’s top road groupset Red! But next to the podium there was more going for SRAM’s Red. 10 out of the top 30 riders were all equipped with this new groupset.

Also it brought 7 stage wins; 12 days in the Maillot Jaune as well as Best Young Rider with Saxo Bank’s Andy Schleck and Best Team GC with Astana. How SRAM will celebrate this huge success at Eurobike is still a mystery; but that its booth will commemorate all these victories, is beyond any doubt.

However, next to celebrations it also about business at SRAM Eurobike booth where of course also new components will be highlighted. Like XX SRAM’s all new and super high-end MTB groupset. It’s a 2 x 10 speed platform for MTBs that inherits lots of design features from the Red groupset. Weight is the main feature of XX, with the dimensions of most parts being reduced.

Next to that with XX SRAM is bringing together its four components brands in order, as the Chicago based manufacturer says: “To craft the most advanced cross country group ever.” This means that next to the 2x10 speed drive train and all the SRAM components that go with that like shifters, derailleurs, chains and so on, also RockShox suspension, Avid brakes, and Truvativ parts come together in this new top-of-the-bill groupset that celebrates its official launch at Eurobike.
