BH's e-Motion Bike Climbs Alpe d'Huez
Having recently won the 1st Electric Vehicle Challenge at the ‘EVER’ fair in Monaco, BH’s e-Bike e-Motion ended second in the gruelling climb to Alpe d’Huez. The event was called ‘Montée-Electrique’ in which BH’s Sport (KE960) participated.
The purpose of the event is to bring together environmentally-friendly means of transportation and to demonstrate that they are up to the toughest challenges, such as the climb to the legendary Alpe d’Huez pass. Its 1,010-metre incline was a challenge that the BH fulfilled well.
BH’s e-Motion PAB (pedal-assist bicycle) crossed the finish line in an impressive 37 minutes and 8 seconds. What’s more, the bike finished the climb at the top of the mountain with 30% of its battery still available, while some of the other contestants had to withdraw from the race due to a breakdown of the motor, or finish the event on foot and with no battery power left.
