Campagnolo's 2010 Zonda 2-Way Fit
2-Way Fit was Campagnolo’s big hit in the wheel market in 2009 and that’s why the company has decided to expand the offer dedicated to the dual option tubeless/standard clincher and to introduce, for 2010, the new Zonda 2-Way Fit.
Thanks to the 2-Way Fit profile, it is possible to take advantage of both the tubeless and conventional tyre technologies. But what’s also surprising for this new wheel is the fact that the Zonda 2-Way Fit weighs only 1580 grams.
To achieve this the rim has been lightened between one spoke and another. The steel spokes feature aero geometry and differentiated thickness, and are different in sizes depending on their function: more slender in the less critical positions, sturdier in the most critical ones.
In addition to the weight, Zonda 2-Way Fit features a new anti-rolling system for the spokes specially developed by Campagnolo, which keeps the spokes constantly in the ideal position to ensure perfect aerodynamic penetration. The hubs also have a new design, further increasing the smoothness. The profile of the Zonda alloy rims is 24 mm front / 30 mm rear.
