Following the successful adoption of BB30 as a new bottom bracket option by the market, ControlTech introduces the Rage OS aluminium crank-set for mountain bikes. The other two models, the T and the D comply with the standard BB. ControlTech has managed to save some weight by eliminating the BB cups of the current outer bearing system.

The oversized AL7075 alloy spindle and oversize bottom bracket increases stiffness substantially and reduces the weight of the crank-set. The larger bearings are more durable and make bearing life longer as they distribute loads better. As BB30 is narrower than other existing outer bearing systems, it also gives the rider greater ankle clearance.

The Rage has a 3D cold forged AL6066 crank arm and AL7075CNC chain rings. The Rage T is available as an external BB type with triple chainrings (44/32/22) and the Rage D has also an external BB type but come with double chainrings (44/29 or 42/28 or 40/27). The OS has a triple chainrings (44/32/22). All models have an integrated axle and are 10-speed compatible.
