Yantec Industries from Taiwan shows at Eurobike its patented EX1. It’s a BB set that takes taper roller bearing as the design focus and has a high compatibility range.
Yantec BC 1.37" X 24T 68/73mm width BB set is suitable for heavy duty usage with high torsion, heavy weights and heavy impacts. The BB set with double taper roller bearings fits any frame and all kinds of cranksets from every manufacturer. Weight stands at 127 grams.
Because of using taper roller bearings in the left and right cups and after locking the cups Yantec’s BB set will not cause any play after extensive and heavy use. Moreover, the strength of EX-1 is 8 times higher than other BB-sets in the market, claims Yantec.
