FSA Launches K-Force Light on BB386EVO Platform

BB386EVO is based on the existing BB30 system. The BB386EVO design simply modifies the BB30 design to a wider width, and incorporates a press fit bearing cup, rather than the direct fit bearing of the BB30 system.

This slight modification allows the adaptability of the design to other BB shells, and gives the frame builder more landscape to craft their frames.

The wider BB386EVO shell allows increased surface area, up to a diameter of around 83mm, so the shape of the tubes can be further modified to achieve the ride performance frame designers want.

In this line, FSA is introducing the solid forged alloy Gossamer crankset with the versatile BB 386 EVO system as well as the K-Force Light BB386EVO. The Gossammer has a cold forged alloy arms, a low speed extruded AL7050 spindle, chrome Steel BB30 bearings, AL7075 stamped / CNC chainrings and chromoly chainring bolts. The compact version weights 790g.

The K-Force Light has hollow carbon molded arms, a low speed extruded AL7050 BB30 spindle and ceramic BB30 bearings. It comes in three lengths, between 170mm and 175mm. The K-Force Light BB386EVO has a UD carbon finish with clear coat and weighs 553.9g.
