No less than four new wheel sets in the successful Team Issue, SL-K, RD-60 and K-Force lines were launched by FSA for 2012. The FSA Team issue wheel set features an extra light 24 millimeter CSI Carbon/Alloy clincher rim and new low weight team issue hubs. These are completely CNC machined for DP spokes and have sealed cartridge bearings with 17 millimeter axles.

The rims are UD Carbon finished while the hubs are black anodized with a Team Issue logo. The Team issue wheel set weights 1400 grams per pair. The 2012 K-Force Carbon Tubular has a carbon rim with a 50 millimeter deep section tubular rim.

To reduce weight FSA specified new extra light hubs for Sapin bladed spokes. The front hub has a carbon body and aluminum flange while the rear hub has a full aluminum body. Both the Team Issue and K-Force are entirely built by hand and use external nipples allowing for easy maintenance. The complete set includes Mercury carbon quick releases, a Fly spoke wrench, a valve extender, yellow brake pad set and a wheel bag.

The K-Force Carbon Tubular comes with an aluminum freehub compatible with Shimano 9 and 10 speed as well as Campagnolo 10 and 11 speed. The wheel set weighs 1390 gram. The SL-Wheelset comes with a 50 x 23 millimeter tubular carbon rim. The other main difference with the K-Force is the SL-K hub adding just 90 grams to the complete wheel set. For the more classical riders, FSA also offers the RD-60 with AL6061 rims and a 25 millimeter deep section with CNC brake surface.
