Ming Cycle Targets Children’s and e-Bike Segments with New Products
Ming Cycle is targeting the market for balance bikes and beginners with a single product. And, it’s hoping that a pair of e-bike designs will be a hit with dealers and consumers
The Taiwan-based maker’s RENNRAD 2-in-1 is enables children to keep their feet on the ground as they familiarize themselves with two-wheeled travel. And, when their children are ready, parents can install a pre-assembled chainset that enables kids to propel themselves by pedaling.
Ming says the RENNRAD’s balance no-pedal design builds confidence. And the optional crank assembly means that they can progress without having to change out the bike. The Ming RENNRAD line contains models that range in size from 12-to-20 inches. In the e-bike category,
Ming’s commitment to development for ODM/OEM customers is made manifest in the launch of new systems that feature centrally mounted and rear hub motor units. Panasonic, Shimano and SR-Suntour are component suppliers to these units, which the maker also is mounting on its branded models.
