TAIPEI, Taiwan – It is probably not the first and it will certainly not be the last; e-bike maker BESV from Taiwan with its core competencies in IT is one of the first manufacturer in the bike industry to offer a members-only App.

At Eurobike, BESV showcased two new e-bikes, which will further broaden their product selection. The new JS1 has won Eurobike Award 2015. Thee BESV Smart App is continuously updated with more features and functions to support the smart e-biking experience.

Fully-connected e-bike

As fully-connected e-bike, the BESV Smart App connects the rider’s smartphone with the BESV e-bike, which allows the control of the e-bike directly through the smartphone. In addition to the now standard ‘My Journey’ and ‘History’ functions, BESV’s Smart App comes with the following new interactive features:

  • Record Park Location: the App will automatically record the parking location of the BESV e-bike, and inform when the rider is near to the bike.
  • Real-time Weather Notice: setting the preferred weather conditions informs the rider automatically if the weather is OK for the ride. It also shows wind speed.
  • Nearby Popular Places: The App shows nearby popular spots.

New city e-bikes

At Eurobike, BESV presented two city e-bikes, the JS1 & the CF1. The JS1’s has a step-through frame as well as an advanced Algorhythm power drive system to deliver the smoothest of rides, every ride.

The CF1 has a hidden battery and diamond headlight integrated into its simple L-shaped frame. BESV’s proprietary Algorhythm power drive system lets everyone—young and old, friends and family— enjoy the best of city biking. The custom-built power drive system, Algorhythm, is integrated into every BESV e-bike. Algorhythm calculates the power needed by the drive system delivering smooth transition from self-pedaled power to electric-powered assistance.
