The initial selection of helmets will consist of two models: The One, an innovative, high-performance helmet for serious riders and Messenger, a sleek, functional helmet for urban riders. The One helmet has a minimalist profile, shaped to efficiently manage airflow for superior ventilation and improved aerodynamics.

Commuters

For urban riders and commuters, the Bollé Messenger helmet is a fine example of great helmet styling for those who don’t want to look like a MAMIL road racer or MTBer. The availability of helmets with a less sportive look might increase the number of commuters who wear a helmet. “Making cutting-edge products for cyclists is an important part of what we do,” said Olivier Ciaravino, Global Eyewear Division President. Bollé is a brand of Vista Outdoor Inc., an outdoor sports and recreation company.

These new products are part of the brand’s integrated approach to protective headwear and sunglasses, dubbed the Competitor Bollé Cycling Solution. The One helmets are designed to wear in combination with the high performance eyewear in of Bollé’s competitor cycling collection. The Messenger helmets can be paired with the more casually styled models in the Bollé sport lifestyle range of sunglasses, like the popular Clint.
